UH OPENS ITS FIRST CLINICAL PILATES TRAINING STUDIO
All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them – Walt Disney   Unite Health opened the doors to its first Clinical Pilates training studio last week. An open airy space, full of natural light, the studio is located in St Edmonds Rd, a bustling side street of Prahran in Melbourne. Clinical Pilates Training   We chat to Sarah Todd, Unite Health Founder and Director, on the experience. Clinical Pilates Training   What did it feel like to open the doors to the new studio last week? It was a completely surreal experience; it still doesn't feel real. I've been wanting my own studio for such a long time.  It's such an incredible feeling to come into work everyday to a beautifully designed studio that we can call ours. The studio is architecturally designed  - where did your inspiration come from? My inspiration has definitely come from the abundance of Melbourne cafes, each so unique in their interior.  I love natural night so this was definitely a top priority for me when looking for the space.  The hunt for our own venue started well over a year ago -  when I walked into St Edmonds Rd my gut immediately let me know that we had found our new home.  Clinical Pilates Training   The studio will run the Melbourne Unite Health & APPI courses every weekend. What else can we expect from the space in the future? We will be opening our doors in the next few months to run public classes during the week.   We'll be offering a range of Pilates & yoga classes for the general public, Mon-Sat.  I am so excited to welcome everyone into our beautiful new space.  We'll also be running several events over the next few months including the 'United Women in Business' network I've recently set up to bring together women in business.  On top of all that we will be hosting physio evening talks and presentations.  Unite Health has had a big year. Any there any more surprises in store? Of course there is!!!!  Our e-learning platform will shortly be up and running which will offer a range of NEW professional development courses for allied health professionals to be undertaken online.
